To tackle the pressing problem of low capital project expenditure and implementation rates, the Mauritian government nominated a team from the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development to participate in CABRI’s 2024-2025 Building Public Finance Capabilities (BPFC) programme.
Team Zanfan Moris is composed of officials drawn from various directorates within the Ministry, including Social Protection, Industrial Development, Human Resources, Public Enterprises, Indirect Taxation and Strategic Sectors. Team members are currently working in sector ministry support teams (SMSTs) across various sectors and central teams such as the Human Resources Budgeting Unit and the Reform Cell.
