This case study provides an overview of the supporting planning and budget formulation process for climate resilient agriculture value chains in Kenya that are inclusive of the most vulnerable women, men and children. Kenya utilises programme-based budgeting, which incorporates performance measurements within a medium-term approach (Kenya Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Kenya Ministry of Finance, 2011).
